Thank you for staying with us. We know travelers are on edge as we all navigate this worldwide health emergency and want you to know that we appreciate you being here. As we begin a slow and safe road to a "new normal" we want you to know that we are committed to protecting our staff, their families and our guests above all else. Know that we, as a team, a doing everything we can to provide a clean and safe experience for you and your families and friends.
In accordance with the guidelines from the CDC and our local Health Department, Social Distancing guidelines and CDC cleaning protocols are in effect throughout the property. Appropriate face coverings for anyone over the age of two are required in our General Store, Wine and Spirit Shop and Laundry Rooms. We ask ALL guests to adhere to these guidelines for the safety of everyone. We know camping is a social activity. Many of you are here with friends and relatives. Please be responsible when gathering and interacting around campfires. The responsibility to social distance is yours. Please take it seriously. We do.
Policies will be updated as needed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health.
RESERVATIONS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE
NOTE: Special event periods, including Ironman weekend (July 25-29) and Half Ironman weekend (September 6-9) may have different minimum stay requirements and different cancellation policies. Please call or email us to find out about our cancellation policies BEFORE you book online. Or call us to reserve by phone.
ONLINE RESERVATIONS REQUIRE PAYMENT IN FULL AT TIME OF RESERVATION
We are sorry to advise that we cannot refund any money due to inclement weather, early departures, or cancellations due to family emergencies or other personal situations.
RV SITES, TENTS, CAMPING CABINS & LODGE ROOMS
Reservations require a one night deposit (3 nights for holiday/peak periods including US and Canadian holidays). Reservations of 14 nights or more require a 50% deposit. You may cancel at any time 8 days or more prior to arrival (14 days for holiday/peak periods) and your deposit will be refunded less a $20 fee. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to arrival (14 days for holiday/peak periods), you will forfeit your deposit.
Only one RV or tent per site allowed (no tents allowed at cabin sites). Kitchen tents are allowed. Please do not arrive with more people than what you have booked; please call ahead of time to advise of any additional people you may be bringing.
Reservations normally require a 3-night minimum stay, especially during holiday/peak periods. A 3-night deposit is required. If you cancel more than 30 days prior, you will be charged a $100 fee (deposit is refunded minus $100). If you cancel at 30 days or less, you will forfeit your deposit.
LOG HOME RENTAL
Three (3) night minimum stay required in most cases with a three (3) night NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required to confirm reservation. Reservations of 14 nights or more require a 50% deposit. Please call us if you are looking to book for less than 3 nights.
Dogs must be registered at check-in. Fees apply. You must have a current rabies certificate with you. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times. Please clean up immediately after your pet. The Four Paws Dog Walk is available in the Resort Section, and trails are available at the 100 Acre Woods Section. No more than 2 dogs per camp site allowed. One dog per camping cabin. Rooms and cottages do not allow pets. Pets are not allowed on the playgrounds, pool areas, boats or in any buildings. Do not leave your pet unattended. Any animal showing aggression toward another camper or campers pet will be asked to leave the campground immediately.
Fees for pets:
Campsites: $3 per dog per stay (not per night). Maximum 2 dogs per site.
Camping Cabins: $10 per night. Only one dog per cabin allowed.
Any person visiting you at the campground during your stay must register at the General Store before entering the campground. Visitor Fees are as follows:
Day Visitor: 9:00am-9:30pm / $12 per adult / $6 per child under 17.
Overnight Visitors ( must depart by 11:00am): $15 per adult / $8 per child / $7 per vehicle.
Half Day: 5:00pm-9:30pm: $6 per adult / $3 per child.
Parking passes are required on all visiting vehicles. Visitors must use visitor parking. No visitors’ pets allowed. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR VISITORS FOLLOWING THE CAMPGROUND REGULATIONS.
Please respect your neighbors and the peace of the outdoors. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
Rooms, Cottages, and Cabins 11:00AM, Campsites are 11:30AM. Late checkout/early check in might be available if arranged in advance. Fees apply.
Only one camping unit and one vehicle per site. Additional vehicles must park in the designated parking areas and pay additional fees. No washing of RVs or vehicles within park. Please no vehicle maintenance, driving over 5mph, or unnecessary driving in the park. Only licensed drivers operating insured vehicles. No personal golf carts allowed.
Firewood is sold in the General Store. Please DO NOT pick any live branches from the trees or dead branches off the ground. It is illegal to transport untreated firewood more than 50 miles from its source within New York State.
Please do not move fire rings. All fires must be contained within designated fire rings, kept knee high or below, and extinguished before leaving your site or retiring for the evening. Burning of trash is strictly prohibited.
New York law prohibits the drainage of sink or shower water on ground. Please use dump stations. SEWER DONUTS or ELBOWS are mandatory for all sewer hook ups.
Adults are responsible for ALL actions of their children. Children should be supervised at all times. Please escort children younger than 10 to the bathrooms. All children age 16 and younger must be back at their site/room by 10:00 PM.
Playground closes at dusk.
We do not provide trash pick-up. Trash cans and recycling bins are located at all bath houses. Please, NO BULK ITEMS.
Open 24 hours a day. Please have an adult with small children. We close our restrooms daily for cleaning. One bathhouse each section remains open at all times.
We do not charge extra for sunshine and we do not provide refunds for rain. Camping is an outdoor experience and you will encounter nature, including wildlife, insects and changes in the weather. No refunds are provided if you need to shorten your stay after arrival.
Resort Section is open 24 hours. Change machine is located in the GAME ROOM (open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.) 100 Acre Woods Section is open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Change machine is in the laundry room.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Pools are open from 10:00 AM until dusk, weather permitting. Never swim alone. A minimum of 2 adults (age 18+) must be present to use the pool, with at least one adult remaining on the pool deck. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. In an emergency, notify the facility operator and contact help as soon as possible. A free telephone is located at the Lodge front door and the Resort Section night registration booth. Only use this facility during posted hours of operation. Don’t drink alcohol and swim. Swim Diapers are required for all infants.
The use of drones anywhere on the property is prohibited.
There is a maximum # of people per site check with the office. Do not remove picnic tables from their sites. No grills or hibachi on tables without protection. Keep camping equipment/belongings within site boundaries.
Our water pressure is at least 100 pounds so water pressure reducers are STRONGLY recommended for RVs.
The management of North Pole Resorts assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries or losses within the facility. Violation of rules or display of objectionable behavior may result in the termination of tenancy. Any termination will be at the discretion of the management and no refund will be given.
