We are sorry to advise that we cannot refund any money due to inclement weather, early departures, or cancellations due to family emergencies or other personal situations.
RV SITES, TENTS, CAMPING CABINS & INN ROOMS
Reservations require a one night deposit (3 nights for holiday/peak periods including US and Canadian holidays). Reservations of 14 nights or more require a 50% deposit. You may cancel at any time 8 days or more prior to arrival (14 days for holiday/peak periods) and your deposit will be refunded less a $15 fee. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to arrival (14 days for holiday/peak periods), you will forfeit your deposit.
Only one RV or tent per site allowed (no tents allowed at cabin sites). Kitchen tents are allowed. Please do not arrive with more people than what you have booked; please call ahead of time to advise of any additional people you may be bringing.
Reservations normally require a 3-night minimum stay, especially during holiday/peak periods. A 2-night deposit is required (3 nights for holiday/peak periods). If you cancel more than 30 days prior, you will be charged a $100 fee (deposit is refunded minus $100). If you cancel at 30 days or less, you will forfeit your deposit.
We are pet friendly; however, there are some restrictions and rules you must follow. Dogs must be registered at check-in, and you must have a current rabies certificate with you. Dogs must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after immediately. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time. Four Paws Dog Walk at the Resort Section and the trails at the 100 Acre Woods are available for leisurely dog walks. No more than 2 dogs per camp site allowed. Only 1 dog per cabin or room allowed (not all rooms allow pets). Pets are not allowed in cottages or the Log Home. Please advise us if you are bringing a pet before you check in. Pets are not allowed on the playgrounds, in the pool areas, in boats or in any buildings. Please note that due our insurance carrier regulations, we do not allow Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, or mixes of these breeds. You will be asked to leave if your dog shows signs of aggression or for excessive barking.
Fees for pets:
Campsites: $2 per dog per stay (not per night). Maximum 2 dogs per site.
Camping Cabins: $10 per night. Only one dog per cabin allowed.
Deluxe & Standard Inn Rooms: $20 per night. Only one dog per room allowed. No dogs allowed in the Family Suite. Not all Deluxe and Standard Rooms can accept a dog, so please call and advise you are bringing a dog before you do so.
Cottages & Log Home: No dogs allowed.
Only registered guests are permitted to enter the resort. All visitors must stop in the office to register, pay a fee and receive a parking pass. Visitors may not bring pets. North Pole Resorts reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 9:30pm. Overnight visitors must depart by 11:00am. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.
Please respect your neighbors and the peace of the outdoors. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
Rooms, Cottages, and Cabins 11:00AM, Campsites are 11:30AM. Late checkout/early check in might be available if arranged in advance. Fees apply.
Only one camping unit and one vehicle per site. Additional vehicles must park in the designated parking areas and pay additional fees. No washing of RVs or vehicles within park. Please no vehicle maintenance, driving over 5mph, or unnecessary driving in the park. Only licensed drivers operating insured vehicles. No personal golf carts allowed.
Firewood can be purchased at the store. Our trees are precious to us and our future. Even dead or broken branches are important to the ecology of the Adirondacks and should be left alone. DO NOT CUT OR CHOP ANY TREE, DEAD OR ALIVE. No gathering of firewood. $100+ fine for any damage to trees. Make fires inside fireplaces ONLY! Do not move the fire ring. Fire height reasonable (knee high or lower). All fires must be extinguished before retiring.
Buy it where you burn it! In compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regulations, transport of firewood from out of state and more than 50 miles away is no longer permitted, due to invasive insect infestations. These infestations originate in firewood and then necessitate the clearing of large tracks of forests. Firewood must now be purchased locally in the Adirondacks.
New York law prohibits the drainage of sink or shower water on ground. Please use dump stations. SEWER DONUTS or ELBOWS are mandatory for all sewer hook ups.
Are to be supervised by their parents/grandparents. The adults are responsible for all the actions of their children. Please escort children under 10 to the bathrooms. Anyone under 18 must be back at their site by 10:00PM.
Playground closes at dusk.
Trash cans are located outside all bath houses.
Recycling is required in New York and located near trash cans. We recycle newspaper, glass, tin, aluminum and plastic. We appreciate your care in separating your trash into the proper recycling containers.
Open 24 hours a day. Please have an adult with small children. We close our restrooms daily for cleaning. One bathhouse each section remains open at all times.
NO refunds for shortened stays or delayed arrivals. We do not charge extra for sunshine and we do not refund for rain.
100 Acres: 8:00am – 10:00pm / Off-Season 8:00am-9:00pm Change machine located in the laundry room.
Resort Section: Open 24 hours. Change machine located in the Game Room (which closes at 10:00pm).
No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Open 10:30am to Dusk. Pool rules are posted on the fence. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Children in diapers are not allowed in our pools. There must be a minimum of 2 adults in the pool area at all times, one of whom must be out of the water.
The use of drones anywhere on the property is prohibited.
There is a maximum # of people per site check with the office. Do not remove picnic tables from their sites. No grills or hibachi on tables without protection. Keep camping equipment/belongings within site boundaries.
Our water pressure is at least 100 pounds so water pressure reducers are STRONGLY recommended for RVs.
The management of North Pole Resorts assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries or losses within the facility. Violation of rules or display of objectionable behavior may result in the termination of tenancy. Any termination will be at the discretion of the management and no refund will be given.
